Professional installation

Professional Christmas light installation for Ridgefield homes

Newer homes often come with steep pitches, multiple gables and long gutter runs. Custom-fit strands follow every one of those lines without sagging or coming up short.

We measure, cut and assemble each strand on site, with commercial-grade C9 or C7 bulbs on 12-inch spacing. The retrofit LED bulbs stay lit even if the bulb beside them goes out.

After January takedown, your strands go into a labeled bin for your home. Next season they go back up faster, at $4.50 a foot instead of $6.00.

We install all over Ridgefield, from downtown to the newer neighborhoods east of I-5, and south toward Felida and Salmon Creek.

What's included with a Ridgefield installation

Your per-foot price covers far more than install day. Here's everything that comes with it.

  • A design built around you

Send a photo and tell us what you're picturing. Classic warm white, a color pattern or something in between, we plan it with you.

  • Commercial-grade lights

C9 or C7 strands with retrofit LED bulbs that keep shining when a neighboring bulb fails. Minis for trees, bushes and railings.

  • Custom fitting on site

Strands are measured, cut and assembled at your house, so every line follows your gutters and peaks exactly.

  • In-season repairs

A bulb or strand goes out? Call us 7am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday, and we fix it at no extra cost.

  • January takedown

We remove everything we installed by the end of the second week of January. Nothing left on your roof into February.

  • Labeled storage

Your strands go into a bin with your name and install notes, so next year's display goes back up faster and matches.

The lights

Choosing your Christmas lights: C9, C7 or minis

All three are commercial grade. Pick based on the style you like and the part of the house or yard you're lighting.

Large warm white bulbs evenly spaced along the rooflines of a snowy two-story home

Best for rooflines

C9 bulbs

The traditional big-bulb look. Set 12 inches apart, with retrofit LED bulbs that keep working when a neighbor bulb fails.

Lit roofline and gables on a stone-front home at night

Best for a lower profile

C7 bulbs

A smaller bulb with light output close to a C9, so the roofline looks a little sleeker.

Mini lights wrapped through trees and shrubs in a front yard

Best for trees and bushes

Mini lights

Wrap trees, bushes, porch columns and railings. Choose warm white, multicolor, red or green, or ask about other colors.

Nine colors. Any pattern.

Pick one color or combine several on your C9 and C7 strands.

It began in 2007 as a side service of Jesse's landscaping business. He liked the work so much that he kept it going after selling the landscaping side.

Brian, a friend, became a partner in 2010, and Genevieve, Jesse's sister, took over the office in 2012 before becoming a governing partner. Family and friends still run it today.

We carry insurance of up to $1 million per occurrence and are licensed in Washington as an LLC.

Questions

Ridgefield Christmas light installation FAQ

Have another question? We answer the phone 7am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday, at (360) 474-7640.

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Ridgefield, WA?

We charge $6.00 per linear foot the first season, which covers custom fitting and light rental, and $4.50 per foot every season after. Mini lights for trees and bushes are $2.25 per foot. Most homes need 100 to 200 feet for the front rooflines and gutters. Maintenance, takedown and storage are included.

Can you light a new-construction home?

Yes. Every strand is custom-fit on site to your home's rooflines and gutters, so a brand-new house is no different from any other install. Send us a photo with your ideas to get a quote.

When should I book my installation?

As early as you can. We begin installing in early October and spots go fast. Once they're up, you decide when to switch them on.

How do I get an estimate?

Start with a photo and your address. For homes visible online, a phone call usually covers it. The final bill reflects the actual footage installed.

Can you hang my own lights?

Generally no. New customers get our commercial-grade, custom-fit C9, C7 and mini lights. If another company built you commercial-grade custom strands, we may install them after inspecting them.

What kind of lights do you use?

We use custom C9 and C7 strands on 12-inch spacing with retrofit LEDs that keep shining if a bulb goes out, plus minis for landscaping, columns and railings.

What colors can I choose?

Nine colors for C9 and C7 bulbs (warm white, red, green, blue, teal, orange, yellow, pink and purple) in any pattern. Minis come in warm white, multicolor, red or green, or other colors by request.

What happens if a bulb or strand goes out?

We fix it at no charge. All maintenance during the season is included in the installation price.

When do you take the lights down?

By mid-January. We take down the full display by the end of the second week and keep your lights stored until next season.

Do I get to keep the lights?

Most customers rent. That's what makes storage, maintenance and yearly reinstalls possible. Purchases are limited to previous customers due to inventory.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are. We're a licensed Washington LLC, insured for up to $1 million for any incident that harms you or your property.

Do you offer any discounts?

We do. Veterans and seniors receive a 10% discount.
